Varefakta Packaging prepares your company for the Producer Responsibility for Packaging through easy and accurate reporting of packaging data. The system enables you to gather and systemise all your supplier and product data in one place, allowing you to manage packaging specifications efficiently.
Step 1. Submission of your supplier and product data
Start by entering your suppliers and their products. To make the process easier, Varefakta can helps with data import, so you avoid manual entry. Once your network of products and suppliers is set up, you can start collecting packaging data and easily share forms with your suppliers.
Step 2: Suppliers add packaging data
Suppliers gain access to specification forms where they enter detailed information about the primary and secondary packaging used. To ensure accurate data entry, the fields are designed as drop-down menus and numerical fields. Your suppliers register packaging components such as lids, boxes, and labels, specifying weight, material type, and sorting. Material composition is further detailed with specifications on packaging type (e.g., PET, paper) and recycling percentage. After entering the data, the form is released to you, and the form is locked, but can be reopened if needed. You validate and review the data for accuracy.
Step 3: Generation of complete Database and dashboard
After validation, you can download a complete database on your packaging specifications tied to each product. Simply add item numbers and sales figures for the period, and the system will automatically calculate the total packaging volumes. A dashboard gives an overview of fractions and estimated costs for reporting. Once the calculation is completed, you can generate a CSV file that can be uploaded directly to your Collective Scheme.
